Our Mission
Placing emphasis on community, agriculture and youth, the Inter-Mountain Fair Heritage Foundation has the primary objective to develop sustainable long-term year-around uses for the Fairgrounds facilities. The goal is not only to make the Fairground’s presence relevant, but essential to the community and ensure its success for future generations.

Preserving the Inter-Mountain Fair
The Inter-Mountain Fair Heritage Foundation and staff is working to ensure that the Inter-Mountain Fairgrounds remains the best it can be for generations to come. Listed below are some of the projects, goals and events that sponsorship monies have allowed us to implement and complete.
After extensive negotiation, acquired a 20 year extension of the lease of the fairgrounds from Shasta County
Fresh paint on rentable buildings & barns
New windows & siding for flower building
New picnic tables, banquet tables, and restoration of old ones
Upgrades to RV park laundry, bathrooms and power supply
New flower boarders & entryway fencing
New ADA bathrooms & ADA ramps
New power pedestals for new vendor layout during fair event
New pens in lamb barn
New underlayment of decomposed granite in both lamb and swine barns
Successfully introduced several new yearly events
Introduced the ‘Rat Farm Adventures’ for Thursday nights at the Fair
Future Plans include updating wifi throughout the entire grounds to facilitate vendors and guests.
